Adopt a classroom at Jeppe
Jeppe High School for Boys occupies what must be one of the most striking historical buildings in Johannesburg. Since the school moved to its current site in 1909 thousands of boys have acquired the skills that allowed them to go on to become proud citizens of Johannesburg and South Africa.
Despite being a national monument and asset, the building is not maintained through any government support, and every year it becomes more and more difficult to maintain and upgrade our facilities to ensure that Jeppe continues to offer a world class teaching environment for its staff and pupils.
It’s not about outside appearances, but what is inside that counts.
With this in mind Jeppe has launched a phased classroom upgrade process, which includes the basic maintenance essential in all buildings of this age, and the installation of new technology to ensure the school stays up to date with modern teaching practice.
This process cannot be completed without your support, so we encourage you to adopt a Jeppe classroom to help the school maintain its high standards.
Adoption packages have been tailored to suit any size contribution:
Branding and marketing activity by your organisation will be welcomed during the school’s career and open days.
In addition your organisation will have the opportunity to host presentations and introduction to our boys, with a view to recruitment and internship opportunities for high achievers. |
