Sports Summary – Saturday 4 February 2017

Jeppe High School for Boys hosted Parktown Boys’ High in a summer sports fixture last weekend and came out on top in all the matches played in all three sports – water polo, basketball and cricket.
The water polo team continued their good form by beating Parktown 13-4; the basketball team was too strong for a Parktown team that is relatively new to the game, winning 98-13; while the 1st team cricket match was competitive, with Jeppe winning by 42 runs in the end.
The outstanding performance of the weekend came from the under-15A cricket team’s opening pair, who put on a partnership of 317 for the 1st wicket. Nlanlha Moshego made 196 off 121 balls, and Luke Hall smashed 106 off 89 balls.
