Soccer season kicks off
The first team that drew 1-all with Parktown
The soccer season got under way last weekend with a home fixture against Parktown.
There were nine matches played, and the overall results were even – three wins, three losses and three draws. Jeppe did, however, win the under-16A, under-15A and under-14A games. The first teams drew 1-1.
At last week’s under-14 trials the turnout was impressive. We have enough interested players to field 5 under-14 teams this year.
The soccer fixtures for the rest of the year are:
Friday 1st September – Pretoria Boys’ High (away)
Monday 4th September – KES (away)
Friday 8th September – St John’s (away)
Monday 11th September – St Alban’s (away)
Thursday 14th September – St David’s (home)
Friday 15th to Sunday 17th September – St Peter’s Festival (St Peter’s)
